On top of CNC punching, forming and bending, Accurate Perforating can also provide precision CNC laser cutting. Laser cutting is typically used for industrial cutting of thick materials up to 1/2". It works through directing the output of a high power laser onto the material to be cut. The material then either melts, burns, vaporizes away, and then is blown away by high pressure air. The addition of the high pressure air leaves an edge with a smooth surface finish. Our CNC laser cutter is typically used to cut flat-sheet material and but can also cut tubing when requested.
Accurate's laser cutter is the powerful and precise 3500 W Mitsubishi CNC Laser System. Mitsubishi introduced the first commercial laser cutting machines in 1987, and we've been improving CNC laser cutting technology ever since. Our laser cutter's capabilities are wide ranging. It can handle many materials like carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. It can handle sheets 5' wide and 10' long. It can precisely and neatly cut through material as thin as 28 gauge and as thick as 1/2".
