The AIA Conference 2024 will be held June 5 – 8th in Washington, DC. As a mainstay, Accurate Perforating will once again be exhibiting at the premiere conference for all things architecture at the in-booth number 3831. When you visit our booth, you will have the opportunity to meet with Mike Beck, our VP of Sales and Engineering, and Bryan Pierik, our Estimating Manager. With a combined experience of over 45 years, they are well-versed in working with architects and contractors, educating them on the benefits of perforated metals, and discussing our immense capabilities, including all the metal fabrication work we can do and what finished ends vs unfinished ends are.

AIA Conference 2024 Expo Hours

The AIA Conference 2024, held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Centers on June 6th and 7th, offers dedicated convention-only hours for the Expo. This ensures that you have ample time to explore and visit our booth. The show opens at 9:45 a.m. on both days, with Thursday's session running until 5:30 p.m. and Friday's session closing at 4:00 p.m.

What is the AIA (American Institute of Architects)?

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is a professional organization for architects in the United States founded in 1857.  With its headquarters in Washington, D.C., the organization will have a short commute to the convention center. The AIA offers education, advocacy, community redevelopment, and public outreach to support the architecture profession. It also sets standards for architectural education and professional practice, providing resources and support for architects throughout their careers. The organization takes a hands-on approach to advancing the interests of architects and promoting and awarding excellence in architectural design and practice.

To the best of our knowledge, the first AIA Conference on Architecture took place in 1857, coinciding with the founding year of the AIA itself. This event likely occurred in a major city such as New York City or the headquarters of Washington, DC.

Why Does Accurate go to the AIA Convention?

Accurate Perforating has been a consistent presence at the AIA Conference for almost twenty years, starting in 2008. Our first show was one of the first we ever exhibited at, and since then, we have not missed a single one. Over the years, the size and complexity of our booth may have changed. Still, our dedication to engaging with architects and engineers, learning about their projects, and discussing how to incorporate perforated metal into their designs has remained unwavering.
