GreenBuild Expo, San Francisco, CA - 2012 Recap
The last architectural trade show of the 2012 season has come to an end.
As anyone who has worked trade shows will attest, they may be very productive, but they are hard work. Between the logistics, the travel set up, staffing and working the booth, entertaining in the evenings, tear-down, and travel again, it’s a good feeling to have it behind you. We want to thank everyone who stopped by our booth. The new V-Series pre-engineered vertical sunshades drew a lot of attention. The second phase of the pre-engineered system will be released in Q1-2013 with the H-Series pre-engineered horizontal sunshades.
It was encouraging to see the international expansion of this show. A noticeable contingent from Brazil was in attendance, and one visitor came all the way from New Zealand.
Although some of the show hours were unconventional and a bit long, the traffic was strong and consistent all day. We even had a man come to our booth as the crew was pulling up the aisles, note that dedication. Conversations included current projects and a very positive outlook for upcoming projects. Some are rather ordinary while others look to be a very exciting challenge. The ornamental patterns and some of the unconventional patterns caught many attendees’ eye. As they browsed the booth looking at the samples, you could almost hear the gears turning, “I could use this for an infill panel….” Or “Wouldn’t this look great as….”. It’s great to be part of that creative energy.
GreenBuild 2013 is in Philadelphia, PA. We hope to see you there. Keep checking the Accurate Perforating website and blog for updates on our trade show and other activities.
