2929 Weslayan

In 2013, Accurate Perforating was approached by architect Stephen Funk from CallisonRTKL for a custom perforated metal component for a new high-rise, 2929 Weslayan in Houston, TX. The project required 3.2 miles of balcony railing panels to resemble a flowing dress, but other companies had deemed it impossible. Accurate, known for custom solutions, took on the challenge. After thorough discussions, they proposed custom-sized 36” wide perforated aluminum panels to avoid rust and meet structural needs. These panels also had mounting holes for easy installation, reducing labor costs. Accurate ensured consistency in appearance and quality by sourcing aluminum from the same mill and applying a Class I architectural anodized finish. Stephen Funk praised Accurate for their responsiveness and flexibility, which helped keep the project on track and within budget.
